Download data from the sensors To download the data from the device, you can do it sensor by sensor or using a docking. Below we will explain how to download the data sensor by sensor.To know how to download data with a docking station, please read section How to Sync and charge with docking station V2. Plug your device to your computer using the USB cable provided with the device. Once your device is recognised by your computer, the below message will appear at the bottom right of your screen.By clicking on the message, Insiders website will be opened in your default browser. Sensor configuration To configure your device, you need to follow the below steps: Plug your device to your computer using the USB cable provided with the device. Update with the Updater tool Warning: prior to update a device, ensure you have retrieve all data. The update process erases all data present in the device. If you do not have a docking station or if you would like to update a single sensor at the time, the update can be launched manually using the Updater tool. Note: Currently, the Updater works only on Windows computers. First download the Updater tool Extract all the content of the “updaterXYZ.zip” file you downloaded previouslyNote: To extract the content of a ZIP file, you can download 7-Zip. It is a free software with open source Once all the content is extracted from the ZIP

Note: this procedure works with version 3.9 and higher. If it is not the case yet, please update it with this procedure: docking update. This will erase the docking’s content so be sure to contact support before performing the procedure. Power down the docking station. Make sure there is no sensor connected. Download the .txt file with this link: click here for download. Then place it in the USB key. 4. If the file extension “.zip” is missing, there is two options : You are using a Windows PC: it is likely that in your personal settings the extension of known file types are hidden. This doesn’t affect the devices update process. You can continue the update process. You are using a MAC: ZIP

Data Synchronization Note : Once the synchronization is done, the datas are automatically deleted from the sensors. So be sure you have saved the data on the provide USB Key as mentioned below. Connect all your sensors to the docking station before powering it up. Power up the docking station. Wait until the docking boots up (take around 30 seconds) The docking will automatically start the synchronization of the sensors.                  5. Once synchronized, the sensor’s icons become green.                 6. When all sensors are synchronized, plug the provided USB key on the back of the docking.

Before the Game Before starting to use the device, you must activate it by taking its ownership. For more information, please read the section How To Activate Your FieldWiz V2.
